About paceba.se
paceba.se is a budget pacing calculator for ad flights. It compares how much time has passed with how much money has burned, then tells you the daily spend needed to land exactly on budget.
It was built because media buyers keep rebuilding the same spreadsheet every Monday morning. Flight dates in one column, remaining budget in another, a formula that someone always breaks, and a chart that finance ignores. We wanted a fast, quiet tool that just answers the question: how much can we spend per day without overshooting the cap?
There is no account, no login, no cloud sync, and no data leaves your browser. We do not store your flights, your budgets, or your campaign names. The entire thing runs in the page. If you close the tab, we will never know you were pacing a shoe drop in Berlin. We prefer it that way.
What it does
- Flight duration: pick a start and end date and get the total, elapsed, and remaining days.
- Pacing check: see budget burned next to time elapsed, plus the variance between them.
- Required daily spend: the exact number to hit between now and the flight end. One click copies it to your clipboard.
- Projected total: where you will end up if yesterday's pace becomes the rest of the flight.
- Yesterday's burn: compare one day's spend to the required run-rate and find out if you are drifting.
How it works
All calculations happen in your browser using plain JavaScript dates. We do not send anything to a server because there is no server. Your browser does the math, your browser keeps the theme preference, and your browser forgets everything the moment you leave.
The design is intentionally sparse: a muted palette, thin borders, and a single accent color used sparingly. It is part of the Scrapyard Labs family, which means it looks related to colorba.se, dateba.se, diffba.se, and layoutba.se. Same questionable taste, different utility.
Why it exists
Most pacing tools are dashboards that demand an API key, a seat license, and a three-year contract. paceba.se does not try to sync with your DSP, pull your insertion orders, or sell you a premium tier. It just divides budget by days, quietly, without asking for your email.
